WifWig (where I’m from, where I’m going) expresses both the passion of sharing where a person is from, and the desire to see the world. WifWig is an application designed to provide mobile users with the means to share where they’re from, and to travel to see where other people are from, opening the doors to see the world through someone else’s eyes. Using geo-tagged photographs, WifWig is designed to allow users to travel through spaces along photo paths. The tagged photos form paths on a global map based on the photos location and time of capture.

Mark ambiently records dialogue, during the conversations that are too important to disrupt, a user can tag, or mark, an unfamiliar reference without interrupting the discussion. The dialogue is then transcribed, while Mark highlights the references it knows are new to the user, and gathers defining information about them.
Special thanks to the Rinker family, Liz Hanley, and David Wismer for their time spent acting in our video.

Our goal with this project was to restore the value in ‘thank you.’ Our idea plays off the classic supply and demand chart in economics. The more Thank You’s that are said, the value of each decreases. Think of our current social state as an over-saturated market. How can we reverse this and create more value in the meaningful interactions between individuals and their community? In order to combat this thanking crisis, we created a traveling mock-bank exhibition that allows users to register an account with Thanks Mutual, the leading contributor in restoring the value of Thank You.
